- I suspect that the BIOS setup routine needs to be rerun; many BIOS' do
- not test for the '87 directly but check the setup in the CMOS RAM. Even
- though there is no entry for the coprocessor in the setup screen, the
- fact of its existence or not is checked and stored when the setup is run.
- One of my PC references lists configuration location 14H, bit 1 as the
- location of "math coprocessor installed", for non-Weitek devices.
